NAAMI’s Second Nepal Winter School in AI Starts December 2019

NAAMI is organizing the second iteration for Nepal Winter School in AI! Quite frankly, the event is an accelerated learning program for all AI enthusiasts. Moreover, it will feature in-depth lectures, hands-on lab sessions on AI, Machine Learning from world-class AI experts, and so much more!

Basically, its an 11-day event, set to kick off from. December 10, 2019, to December 20, 2019. Moreover, the entire event will take place at Gandaki College, Pokhara.

Winter School will include lectures on fundamentals and advanced topics on AI, including computer vision, neuroscience, deep learning, NLP and Mathematics.

Besides the academic merit, the event will also provide an opportunity to socialize and build a network. Nepal Winter School in AI: Objectives

Basically, they want to provide the participants with the prerequisite fundamentals of mathematics, statistics, programming and paper reading skills. Like a launch pad to start a career in AI research. Moreover, they want to inspire early stage researchers from Nepal. Also, to take on challenging high impact AI problems in visual recognition, natural language processing, medical science etc.

Likewise, it’s a venue for sharing and discussing cutting-edge technological advances in AI among both veteran and young researchers from around the world.
