MG Cyberster: An Electrifying Roadster Set to Hit Nepal Soon

MG Cyberster is coming to Nepal.

Paramount Motors, the authorized distributor of MG Motors for Nepal, is planning to introduce an exciting EV in the form of MG Cyberster, a roadster type EV.

MG Motors first launched the MG Cyberster at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China.

In 2024, MG Motors celebrated its 100th anniversary by launching the Cyberster, a car that proudly carries the company’s century-long legacy. 

The Cyberster also earned the prestigious Red Dot ‘Product Design’ Award, highlighting its excellence in design and innovation.

What is the Price of the MG Cyberster in Nepal?

MG Roadster price in Nepal is Rs. 1.68 Crores.

Internationally, it is offered in two variants: Rear Wheel Drive (Single Motor) and All Wheel Drive (Dual Motor) that have battery capacity of 64 kWh and 77 kWh respectively.

However, we anticipate that Nepal will get the Rear Wheel Drive variant.

Design

Performance

The Cyberster RWD variant is powered by a 231 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It generates a max power of 314 PS and a max torque of 475 Nm.

It is supported by a 64 kWh Ternary Lithium Battery with a 508 Km range. Moreover, the charging time from 0 to 100% is around 9 hours and 30 minutes with a 7.2 kW AC Charger.

Under fast charging conditions, it can reach 10% to 80% capacity in around 45 minutes. The Cyberster can reach a top speed of 194 km/h and 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds.

Moreover, it offers 4 different riding modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport and Track.

Front Double Wishbone and Rear Multi-Link handle the suspension duties.

The overall dimensions are 4535 mm long, 1913 mm wide, and 1329 mm tall. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2690 mm.
