KU IT MEET 2017 is all set to happen on 6th – 8th January 2017 in the premises of Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. It is an annual event conducted by Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC), a student wing of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The club has been organizing the event since 2006.
The event aims to enhance the communication between IT industry, educational institutions, and consumers. The event also intents to help promote different IT brands, encourage the development of software and hardware for local and national level competitions and showcase software and hardware products built by students and professionals.
KU IT MEET has always been able to attract a large audience through different interesting and innovative events. Continuing the legacy, this time they have planned to organize 30+ different events including Software and Hardware Competition, Hackathon, Coding Competition, IT Quiz, Gaming Competition, Django Girls Training ,and many more.
One of the most interesting event this year is Idea Hunt, which is being supported by Kathmandu University Business Incubation Center (KUBIC). The event allows teams from various academic background formulate an idea on the given topic and pitch it in front of a panel of judges. The registration for this event is open till 2nd January 2017.
