Kick NEKXA Nebula Smartwatch with AMOLED Display Now Available in Nepal

Kick Lifestyle, a Nepali brand with earbuds such as Kick Bud S Pro and Bud S Classic, has launched its first smartwatch, NEKXA Nebula, in the Nepali market.

On 25th January 2024, Kick announced its new sub-brand NEKXA with the commitment to bring affordable tech products to Nepal. In early February, NEKXA will launch its first NEKXA product lineup – Nebula smartwatch, Buds Z10 earbuds, and Buds X10 ANC earbuds.

Kick NEKXA Nebula Overview

Design and Display

The Kick NEKXA Nebula has an aluminum frame with a silicone watch strap. Buyers can also get a size-adjustable metallic strap for an additional price during purchase. You get two color options– light grey and black, where both the frame and silicone strap carry this color.

The watch has a plastic back that houses the sensors to monitor heart rate and oxygen. There is a single button and a microphone placed on the right side of the watch frame, while the left has a single slit-styled speaker grille.

Talking about the display of the smartwatch, you get a 2.01-inch AMOLED rectangular display with rounded corners that curve at the edges. The display is said to reach a peak brightness of 800nits which should be easily viewable under bright sunlight.

This display is said to be protected by the SCHOTT Xensation glass, but we are not sure about the exact version of the protection or how it compares with the Gorilla Glass.

This does give protection to the watch display as compared to other smartwatches that do not have any branded protection. The watch is built for outdoor use as it is also IP67-rated for protection against dust and water.

Health and Other Features

The Nebula smartwatch features some of the most common health features such as blood oxygen monitoring, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, sports mode, and continuous heart rate monitoring.

Additionally, there is a guided breathing functionality, a camera control function, and a mini-game to play on the smartwatch itself.

The Nebula watch supports Bluetooth calling too as it houses its microphone and speaker. These also enable the smartwatch to activate and use the AI voice assistant directly from the smartwatch when connected to your smartphone. Users can also dial directly from the watch, view the call history, and save contacts on the watch itself.

You can customize the watch face to your personal choice with over 100+ watch faces available on the Co Fit Application. Lastly, some of the more common smartwatch features include– Find Phone, Stopwatch, Alarm, Weather, Timer, Calendar, Calculator, and World Clock.

Battery and Connectivity

The NEKXA Nebula is claimed to give a battery life of 7 days. In terms of charging speed and battery capacity, the information is still not disclosed. Inside the packaging, you will get a magnetic pogo-pin cable to charge the watch.

For connectivity, data storage, and other functions the watch can connect to the Co Fit application available both on Android and iOS mobile devices. The watch uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connection.
