Recently, InFocus Nepal hinted the arrival of a new phone on its Facebook page. InFocus Snap 4, this device is set to be the InFocus’s next release. The company brings a stand-out factor with its every new release; usually a larger battery or larger screen. But this time it’s all about the camera.
InFocus Snap 4 features a quad-camera; two front-facing and two rear-facing cameras. Prism Technologies is the authorized distributor for InFocus smartphones in Nepal. They haven’t specified the price or release date yet. But the InFocus Snap 4 price in Nepal is expected to be around Rs. 24,000 – Rs. 26,000.
Specification Outline
InFocus Snap 4 is powered by MediaTek MT6750. The octa-core processor is clocked at 1.5GHz with 4GB RAM. The display is 5.2-inch IPS panel at 1280 x 720 resolution. It has an on-cell display with 2D curved edges. The internal storage is 64GB which supports extra up to 128GB via microSD. With Android Nougat and rear fingerprint sensor, the entire device is running on Li-Ion 3000 mAh.
This is yet another smartphone to feature four cameras. The rear camera is a dual camera: 13MP + 8MP with LED flash. And the front camera is also a dual camera with 8MP + 8MP. This will certainly intrigue camera enthusiast.

Impressions
Most phones today, aim at the enticing selfie-lovers. InFocus Snap 4 is a midrange smartphone, that aims at the same market. All the hardware specs are decent for a new release. It has a decent processor capable of performing multitask or media consumptions.
The stand-out feature is obviously the four cameras. Performance of the quad camera is yet to be seen. However, InFocus Snap 4 will directly compete against the Huawei Nova 2i. Both devices bring a quad camera setup at an affordable price, now there’s a comparison just waiting to happen.
