Huawei recently confirmed the launch of Nova 6 5G by dropping in a teaser video. On the teaser video, Huawei has included some interesting details of the device. So, after watching the clip and digging around a little, we’ve got a lot of information on the Nova 6. So, let’s check them out.
Huawei Nova 6: Everything That we Know so Far
First and foremost, the Nova 6 will be featuring a full-view display with a dual-camera setup at the front. The layout looks quite similar to that of the Galaxy S10+. Moving on, the Nova 6 will be the first nova phone to support 5G capabilities. And as expected, it will use the Kirin 990 chipset. The processor could be paired with 8GB RAM alongside 128/256GB internals. It may come pre-shipped with Android 10.The processor may be impressive and all but you know what’s not even satisfactory? The 6.4” IPS LCD display. The size is not the problem, the problem is the screen itself. Not that LCD screens aren’t great, it’s just that an AMOLED screen would’ve made sense for a device of this caliber. And, since there is no AMOLED display, there’s no in-display fingerprint sensor as well. Instead, we have a side-mounted physical scanner.
Moving on, the phone features a quad camera array with the primary one centered around a 60MP sensor! Surrounding the primary sensor is a 16MP ultrawide, 2MP dedicated macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. In addition, the front dual cameras comprise a 32MP main sensor and a 12MP secondary camera.
Finally, the phone is reported to pack a huge 4500 mAh battery along with 40W fast charging. The 40W charger should be able to juice up the phone in no time at all.
