Huawei Sponsors 39th National Table Tennis Tournament

Huawei is the sponsor of 39^th National Table Tennis Tournament. All Nepal Table Tennis Association and Call Mobility signed the sponsorship deal on January 7, 2018. The Tournament is to be held uncovered hall in Lainchaur from January 10 to January 13.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ANTTA President Chaturananda Rajvaidya, Call Mobility’s Executive Director Pulkit Bhimsariya, and Huawei Technologies Nepal Co Pvt Ltd’s Director Joyas Zhu. According to the MOU, Call Mobility is to provide 5 Lakhs to ANTTA to organize the tournament. The main sponsor of the tournament will still be Huawei.

300 players from 42 Teams will be participating in the tournament, which will include men’s and women’s singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team events.

The tournament is being held with a budget of 15 Lakhs Rupees, which includes 10 Lakhs from Nepal Sports Council and 5 Lakhs from Call Mobility. This will primarily be spent in the management and providing accommodations to the players who arrive from out of the valley.
