Himalayan Bank Introduces Enhanced e-Commerce Payment Gateway

Himalayan Bank has recently released e-Commerce Payment Gateway for domestic card-holders. The e-Commerce payment gateway allows users to buy and sell goods online using debit and credit card.

This service was available only to international cardholders to merchants in Nepal since January 2015. The service was enhanced after partnering with C2P Thailand, a renowned e-Commerce payment service providers in Asia Pacific. Now, it is made available to both domestic and international card-holders.

e-Commerce Payment Gateway is both convenient and secure. It already accepts all Visa and MasterCard branded cards and is planning to add American Express, JCB, and UPI cards.

The bank is using the 3D secure authentication protocol for secure online e-commerce transactions using credit and debit cards issued by the bank.
