For the first time in Nepal, Information Security Response Team Nepal (NPCERT) is hosting the Global Cyber Security Summit (GCSS) on the 27th and 28th July, 2018.
The Details:
- NPCERT is a team of Information Security experts formed to address the urgent need for the protection of national information and growing cybersecurity threat in Nepal. Through this summit, they aim at building Global Alliance for Cyber Resilience.
- GCSS provides a platform to share knowledge and experience on new cybersecurity trends, technologies, practices, and innovations.
- The objectives of the conference can be summarized into diagnosing Cybercrime and empowering the Cyberlaw and Cybersecurity.
- GCSS has issued a Call for Abstracts of presentations from cybersecurity experts, practitioners, and researchers for the summit.
- The deadline for the Call for Abstracts is set on June 8, 2018, and the abstracts will be accepted by June 22, 2018. After being accepted, the presentation needs to be submitted by July 20, 2018.
- A pre-summit workshop will be held on July 27, 2018, and the Summit on July 28, 2018.
