Garmin Ltd. is an American multinational technology company founded by Gary Burrell and Min Kao in 1989 in Lenexa, Kansas, United States. The company specializes in GPS technology for auto, aviation, marine, outdoor, and sports activities. This specialization has helped Garmin establish itself in the fitness tracking and smartwatch business where it competes with companies like Fitbit, and Apple.
Garmin has a large collection of GPS enabled watches and smartwatches. They have 56 models in their inventory right now, and they continue to grow. Oliz Store posted on Facebook on 13th August saying that they will be bringing Garmin Running watch in Nepal soon. They haven’t explicitly stated which models on the post and they said that we’d have to wait and see until the watches arrive to know more about them when we reached out to them.
Naturally, with the models unknown, pricing is not known too. But Garmin watches are expensive. They sell in the range of $200 – $400. So, you should be very committed to fitness or the convenience of a smartwatch to buy any one of these watches. Oliz also hasn’t released the price date yet. The time frame that we can give you is ‘soon’.
But Oliz has listed many features of the smartwatch they are going to bring. They are Wrist-based Heart Rate, Running, Clock, Daily Smart Features, Activity Tracking, Training, Planning and Analysis, and Cycling Features. These listed features are vague but it gives us the idea of what the watches are capable of doing. We’ll talk more about it when they land in Nepal.
