Changan Oshan X7 Launched Globally: Expected to Arrive in Nepal As Well!

Changan Oshan X7 has been officially unveiled in the global market.

The highly-anticipated SUV was launched in Pakistan on March 07, 2022. It is available across two different variants: Futuresense and Comfort.

Changan Oshan X7 sports aggressive styling, packed with futuristic aesthetics and modern features.

For the Pakistani market, it sits alongside Changan Alsvin (which is already available in Nepal).

Interestingly enough, Changan Nepal has hinted at the possibilities for Oshan X7 to make its way into Nepal. However, key details like its launch date and pricing are yet to be known.

Design

Changan Oshan X7 is a marvel in motion. It sports a symphony of aggressive angular styling.

The front section comes with Matrix LED DRLs with separate housing for Multi-tier headlamps.

It further attracts attention with its Dynamic Surgeflo Grill. It is inspired by calm yet aggressive ocean waves.

Other visual elements include a muscular bumper with a premium-looking chrome strip that moves through the Changan logo.

Like other Changan vehicles, the side profile remains well-reserved.

There are sleek creases that go from the front hood to the rear tail lamp. However, the elements like Air Turbine Inspired 19-inch Wheels and Red Accents help it make it sportier.

Interestingly enough, the rear profile is even more bolder and muscular.

It gets a combination of Infinity LED Taillamps with a continuous LED strip. Adding to that, it also includes chrome-plated ornamental Dual Exhaust Tips.

The interior comes with an expansive ivory-white interior. It is a multi-tier dashboard with piano black, brushed metal, and plush padding.

All in all, it maintains confidence, superiority, and an authoritative presence.

Additionally, Changan Oshan X7 comes in six different colors: White, Gray, Silver, Blue, Black, and Red.

Performance

Changa Oshan X7 is powered by a 1.5L Turbocharged NE15 Series Bluecore Petrol Engine. It can generate a max power of 187.62 PS and a max torque of 300 Nm.

Moreover, it is mated to a 7-Speed DCT transmission with a 55-liter fuel tank capacity.

Intelligent Drive Mode with Four Driving Profile: Eco, Sport, Comfort, and Custom.

Oshan X7 is Euro6 compliant, further improving the fuel efficiency by 44%.

Additional Details

The dimensions are 4730mm in length, 1870mm in width, and 1720mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2786mm.

Since it is an early release, other important details like the ground clearance and storage capacity have yet to be revealed.

In fairness, Oshan X7 is a premium SUV with premium features. So, it will sport a premium price by logic.

Nevertheless, it is still too early to predict anything.

Changan Nepal has shown interest in bringing Oshan X7 to Nepal. However, that might take well over 1-2 years to show up in the streets of Kathmandu.
