Summary:

Acer, though a constant presence in the laptop market, isn't the first name that pops on most people's head when they think about buying a laptop. Most people know brands like Dell, Lenovo, and Apple. But Acer makes some of the best value laptops on the market and it should definitely be on your RADAR.Among this list of Acer laptops price in Nepal, I find it is a tie between the Acer E5-576G and the Helios 300 to be my favorite. If you want a laptop for gaming, go for the Helios 300. It is one of the best value laptops for gaming in the market. If you want a casual all-purpose laptop, go for the E5. It is (despite the price increase) one of the best value all-purpose laptops in the market.

Acer, in Nepal, was introduced a long ago. My first acquaintance with an Acer laptop was when I was in Grade 5 when I saw my teacher use it. Since then I have seen a lot of them. You might think I am unnecessarily blabbering (which I might be) but the point is there are a lot of them out there. Acer never fails to satisfy its customers with its products. So, if I have to buy a laptop or suggest it to a friend, Acer always makes it to my shortlist.

We know to buy a laptop in itself a hectic enough job and a lot of options on top of that makes it even harder. So, we have compiled a list of Acer laptops price in Nepal that are currently available on sale. We also have included where you can buy these laptops to make it even easier for you.

Acer Travelmate TMP 2410-G2

What I would like to say first is that the Acer TravelMate TMP 2410-G2 has a name no one would want to remember. But, what’s there in a name? Let’s look at what this laptop is made of. The Travelmate costs Rs. 76,250 and at this price, we would have expected a full HD screen but what we get is just an HD screen. The RAM is just 4GB and the storage isn’t an SSD. WHat’s even worse? This laptop has 7th Gen U-series processor.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Don’t get me wrong, the performance on this thing wouldn’t be terrible, but it won’t be all buttery smooth either. 4GB RAM is not enough for even normal users. And the lack of an SSD means the laptop would be slow to do everything. Though the svelte design and the muted professional look of the Travelmate TMP ….. may be alluring but what’s on the inside is not worth its price.

Acer Travelmate TMP 2410-G2 Key Specifications

  • Display: 14″ HD (1366 x 768) resolution
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-7200U 1.6 GHz; Quad-core
  • GPU: Intel® UHD Graphics 620
  • Memory: 4GB DDR4
  • Storage: 1TB
  • Battery: 4-cell 3220 mAh Li-ion (8hrs approx)

Acer Travelmate TMP 2410-G2 Price in Nepal: Rs. 76,250

Pros Cons
Sturdy design Just HD screen
Has a DVD drive (if that's your thing) only 4GB RAM
No SSD
7th Gen processors
Overpriced

Acer Travelmate TMP 2510-G2

This laptop is basically the Travelmate above fitted with some more powerful parts. This Travelmate has a discrete NVIDIA graphics inside. And the processor is an 8th Gen i7 processor. The inclusion of both these items on this laptop sounds awesome. But it would have performed awesomely had the RAM been upgraded to 8GB.

And a laptop that costs above one lakh that doesn’t have an SSD isn’t worth taking a look. Move on if you don’t want your laptop to slow down the second day you buy it.

Acer Travelmate TMP 2510-G2-MG Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ HD (1366 x 768) resolution

Pros Cons
Sturdy design Overpriced
Powerful 8th gen Intel processor Just 4GB RAM
Just HD screen
No SSD

Acer Spin 5 SP513

The Acer Spin 5, though a great laptop to use, is not the best-priced laptop for Rs. 125,000. Well, the 8th gen processors and the 512GB SSD are there to justify the price. So, the Spin 5 may not be “overpriced” but it is flawed. The combination of the 8th gen processors and a 512GB SSD will make the laptop wicked fast. But I think, Acer should have made the internal storage just 256GB and included a dedicated graphics from NVIDIA or AMD to make this a better all-round laptop and more appealing to the mass.

The battery life on this machine is food enough for most people. Acer claims 10hrs of max battery life which means you’ll get 6-7 hrs on normal use which is still plenty. And the laptop folds 360 degrees into a tablet. While this is a pricey proposition for most people, the Acer Spin 5 Sp513 is a lot of laptop at the price compared to the offerings of other manufacturers.

Acer Spin 5 SP513 Key Specifications

  • Display: FHD IPS Touch (1920 x 1080)
  • CPU: 8th gen Intel Core i5-8250U quad core
  • GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
  • Memory: 8GB DDR4
  • Storage: 512GB
  • Battery: 3-cell 4670 mAh Li-Polymer (Up to 10hrs of battery life)

Acer Spin 5 SP513 Price in Nepal: Rs. 125,000

Pros Cons
Convertible design Pricey
Large SSD
FHD screen
Powerful 8th gen processors

Acer Swift 3 Silver

For anyone looking for a thin and light ultrabook that is powerful yet minimalistic, Acer Swift 3 is the way to go. Other laptops like the Asus UX430UA, or the Lenovo Ideapad 710s, offer similar specs at a higher price.

The combination of an 8th gen intel core processor and an SSD is sure to give you some snappy performance. And with the 8GB RAM in the mix, you can reasonably have twenty active tabs in chrome and edit a spreadsheet or document with Microsoft Office without breaking a sweat in this laptop. The screen is a Full HD screen great color accuracy and excellent viewing angles. And the battery life is rated at around 10hrs, so you’ll easily get 7hrs out of this machine. Overall, the Acer Swift 3 is an excellent ultraportable with the best value.

Acer Swift 3 Silver Key Specifications

  • Display: 14″ FHD IPS Touch (1920 x 1080)
  • CPU: 8th gen Intel Core i5-8250U 1.6GHz quad core
  • GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
  • Memory: 8GB DDR4
  • Storage: 256GB
  • Battery: 4-cell 3220 mAh Li-Polymer (Up to 10hrs of battery life)

Acer Swift 3 Silver Price in Nepal: Rs. 107,000

Pros Cons
Full HD screen No MX150 Graphics card option
Powerful 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor
Comes with an SSD

Acer Nitro 5

Acer makes some of the best bang for your bucks laptops on the market. Acer Nitro 5 is no exception. Graced with 7th gen intel core i7 HQ processor and a 4GB GTX 1050 graphics card, this thing will pretty much handle your gaming needs if you aren’t into VR (Virtual Reality).

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

But what this laptop is suited for most is the content creation, for productivity apps like Premiere Pro. We just wish the laptop had an SSD. Why pack so many great specs into a laptop and choose to go with an HDD. It slows the whole computer down. And though this laptop can handle all the tasks you throw at it, it won’t be able to do it as quickly as you’d want it to.

Acer Nitro 5 Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ FHD (1920 x 1080)
  • CPU: 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ Processor/ 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor
  • GPU: GTX 1050 4G GDDR5
  • Memory: 8GB DDR4
  • Storage: 1TB
  • Battery: 48 Wh Li-ion Battery

Acer Nitro 5 Price in Nepal: Rs. 102,000(i5), Rs. 120,000(i7)

Pros Cons
Long battery life No SSD
Tons of ports plus DVD drive Heavy

Acer Aspire 7

Now, this laptop seems like the exact copy of the i5 model of the Nitro 5 albeit with a slightly more powerful graphics. So, the fact that it is priced lower seems a little perplexing. But the difference has its cause. The Nitro 5 is a slightly better-built machine and gamers may prefer the red and black aesthetics of the Nitro 5 over the Aspire 7. Otherwise, the Aspire 7 and the Nitro 5 give you the near same experience. They have the same power and purpose – casual gaming and productivity tasks. So the choice is up to you. Which laptop pleases your eyes?

Please note, the Acer Aspire 7 doesn’t have an SSD too.

  • GPU: Geforce GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5
  • Memory: DDR3 8GB RAM

  • Battery: 48 Wh Li-ion Battery

Acer Aspire 7 Price in Nepal: Rs. 95,000

Pros Cons
Long battery life No SSD
Tons of ports plus DVD drive Heavy

Acer E5-576G

This laptop was one of the best value laptops on Nepali market. If you have read our other article about laptops releases and all, you will know about it. We praised this laptop to death. And there was a reason for it. The Acer Aspire E5-576G-51KF was a well-built machine though not the lightest or the thinnest. The screen was a 1080p IPS panel that was sharp though not most color accurate. And all this is still true but this laptop used to cost about Rs. 72K about 6 months ago, now it comes at an updated price of Rs. 83K. Isn’t that nice.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Not only that, even the RAM has been halved to 4GB from 8GB. Why did they have to disfigure something that was already one of the best all rounder laptops available in Nepal? I don’t know and I don’t have a clue.

Acer E5-576G Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ FHD (1920 x 1080)
  • CPU: 8th Gen. Intel® Core i5-8250U @ 2.3GHz
  • GPU: GeForce MX130 2GB GDDR5
  • Memory: 4GB RAM
  • Storage: 1TB HDD
  • Battery: 4-cell

Acer Aspire E5-576G-51KF Price in Nepal: Rs. 83,750

Pros Cons
Powerful No SSD
Tons of ports plus DVD drive Bulky

Acer Aspire E5-476G

This is another laughable addition from Acer in the laptop market of Nepal. They are giving customers a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and combining it with a ludicrous 4GB RAM and expecting consumers to pay above 1lakh for this shit? What do they thing Nepali customers are? They even haven’t included an SSD.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

They think that including a weak dedicated graphics card like the MX130 will lure the customers into their trap. I mean how is this laptop better than the E5-576G? If it’s not then why does this laptop cost more than the laptop above?

Acer E5-476G Key Specifications

  • Display: 14″” FHD (1920 x 1080)
  • CPU: 7th Gen. Intel® Core i7-7500U
  • GPU: GeForce MX130 2GB GDDR5
  • Memory: 4GB RAM
  • Storage: 1TB HDD
  • Battery: 4-cell

Acer Aspire E5-476G Price in Nepal: Rs. 102,000

Pros Cons
Nothing  No SSD
4GB RAM
Overpriced
7th gen processor
Poor battery life

Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX

This is the least expensive Acer laptop on the list. And though it shares its name with the E5 we mentioned (and adored) above, it is not the same machine as the E5-576G. The Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX is underpowered, though the specs are acceptable for the price.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Here, you are getting an HD screen which is less clear and less sharp than a Full HD screen. And the RAM is just 4GB. We have already forbidden you to buy a laptop with 4GB RAM as your main computer because it would barely be able to handle more than 7 open chrome tabs. Though the core i3 eases the pain a little, we still don’t recommend buying this laptop.

Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX Key Specifications

  • Display: 14″ HD (1366 x 768)
  • CPU: 8th Gen. Intel® Core i3-8130U
  • GPU: Integrated Intel HD Graphics
  • Memory: 4GB RAM
  • Storage: 1TB HDD
  • Battery: 4-cell
  • Optical Drive: DVDRW

Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX Price in Nepal: Rs. 55,500

Pros Cons
Has an 8th gen Intel Core i3 processors Just HD screen
Cheap Just 4GB RAM

Acer Aspire E5-576-38CG(Black)

The Acer Aspire E5-576-38CG(black) is just a larger version of the Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX. The Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX had a 14″ screen; the Acer Aspire E-576-38CG has 15.6″ screen. What we said for the former model stands for the latter word by word.

Has an 8th gen Intel Core i3 processors Just HD screen
Cheap Just 4GB RAM

Acer Aspire E5-476

The Acer Aspire E5-476, too, is a version of the Acer Aspire E5-475-34PX. The Acer Aspire E5-476, has the same screen size but it has an option to include slightly more powerful 8th gen Intel core i5 processor. But if you have read more of this article, you can see that the price of the Aspire E5-476 approaches that of Acer Aspire E5-576G-51KF. And if you have noticed that, you have already noticed that how ridiculous the price of this laptop is.

Where the Acer Aspire E5-576G-51KF gives you a Full HD screen, 8GB RAM, and a discrete graphics card, the Aspire E5-476 wants your money for just an HD screen, 4GB RAM and integrated Intel HD graphics. You know which laptop you should buy.

Acer Aspire E5-476 Key Specifications

  • Display: 14″ HD (1366 x 768)
  • CPU: 8th Gen. Intel Core i5-8250U/ 8th Gen. Intel Core i3-8130U

Acer Aspire E5-576

The Acer Aspire E5-576 is the 15.6″ version of the 14″ E5-476 that we just mentioned above. All the other internals except the screen size are different, so what we said for the E5-476-Black is what has to be said for the E5-576. If you don’t feel like reading the paragraphs above, what we said was: buy the Acer Aspire E5-576G-51KF rather than this laptop.

Acer Aspire E5-576G-59Q9

The Acer Aspire E5-576G-59Q9 is basically the Acer Aspire E5-576-(black) with discrete graphics. And while this might seem like a better proposition than the Acer Aspire E5-576-(black), we just would like you to scroll a little up and look at the laptop called Acer E5-576G-51KF. See the difference between this laptop and the Acer E5-576-51FK?

The laptop that we told you to see has a better resolution screen and more RAM than this one for the lesser price. You know which one you should buy.

Acer Predator Helios 300

The value you get with the Acer Predator Helios 300 is unmatched even by the Acer E5. The Helios looks like a gaming laptop from the outside. With its edgy design and orange accents that is not too flashy but definitely makes itself known as a gaming laptop. The casing and the palm rest are metallic. So, you’ll get that premium feel for that premium price tag.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

On the inside, the laptop has a 7th gen intel core i7 HQ processor which is more powerful than the U series. It is paired with 6GB of GTX 1060 graphics. I will let the numbers say it all. It has monstrous power hiding inside that metal cage. The RAM weirdly is just 8GB though which is enough for most things but with all other specs, a 16GB would have matched better. But it is a small caveat. This laptop even has an SSD. A 128GB SSD to store your OS and some programs so that you’ll get faster bootup speed and snappy performance out of your operating system. But the battery life is similar to that of other gaming laptops, and we can’t blame it considering the power hungry internals.

Overall, this is one of the best gaming laptops available in Nepali market today. We highly recommend considering it in your purchase decision.

Acer Predator Helios 300 Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen -backlit IPS Display
  • CPU: 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM
  • Memory: 8 GB Memory
  • Storage: 1TB HDD+128 SSD
  • Battery: 48WHr

Acer Predator Helios 300 Price in Nepal: Rs. 1,35,000

Pros Cons
Hybrid storage No Thunderbolt support
Metallic premium design
Faster SSD Storage
Impressive 1TB HDD storage
Worth the price tag

Acer Predator Helios 315

I have already praised Acer’s Predator Helios above for being one of the best bang for your bucks gaming laptop. It was powerful and affordable. However, this version of Predator Helios is only the former. It has an 8th gen i7 H processor and the same GTX 1060 graphics as on the other model. So, there is no lack of power in this laptop. Also, the RAM is now 16GB and the capacity of SSD has been bumped up to 256GB. But the price has seen a huge rise too – this version of Acer Predator Helios costs nearly one lakh more than the previous one.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

And we don’t think it’s worth shelling out one lakh more on this version when the previous version is already powerful enough to play games and edit videos. However, you should note that laptops with similar specs from other manufacturer tend to cost way more than what the Predator Helios is offering right now. So, the bottom line is that you probably don’t need this extra power from the Predator Helios, but if you do, this is the laptop to buy.

Acer Predator Helios Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen -backlit IPS Display
  • CPU: 8h Gen Intel® Core™ i7-8750H Processor
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM
  • Memory: 16 GB Memory

Acer Predator Helios Price in Nepal: Rs. 2,30,000

Pros Cons
Hybrid storage No Thunderbolt support
Metallic premium design Pricey

Acer Predator 17

Acer Predator is a gaming beast which any gamer would love to call their own if they have enough cash. Costing a whopping 3,00,000 NRs, Acer Predator 17 is not for people who like to game, it is for those for whom gaming is the love of their life.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Acer Predator 17 has a 4K 17-inch screen making the Predator 17 more of a portable desktop than a laptop. No one will think of keeping this thing in their laps. Acer Predator 17 is powered by an Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor paired with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 card. So, even the latest games will run without issues in high settings. The other cool thing about the laptop is the inclusion of 512GB SSD which makes the overall processes of the Operating system faster which means you get quick startup times than on a normal HDD. The Predator 17 is not made for everyone and it is apparent from its bulky design and sky-high price. But for those who were searching for a serious gaming machine, this thing is a worthy contender for your attention.

Acer Predator 17 Key Specifications

  • Display: 17.3″ UHD 3840×2160 4K IPS Panel
  • CPU: 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor
  • GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070
  • Memory: 16 GB DDR4 Memory
  • Storage: 512GB M.2 SSD in RAID 0 + 2 TB HDD
  • Battery: 8 cell Li-ion battery

Acer Predator 17 Price in Nepal: Rs. 3,00,000

Pros Cons
Huge Storage 1080 would have been better at this price
Great thermal management Battery life not very good

Acer Predator 17 X

Everything I said about the Predator 17 applies to the Predator 17 X word by word. But you’ll have to take them up a notch because the Predator 17 X pumps more power over the already powerful Predator 17. The Predator 17 X packs a 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7820HK processor which is similar to the HQ processor found on the Predator 17 but is overclockable. If you are into overclocking your CPU to do I don’t know what, the 17 X has that option.

The RAM capacity has been doubled to 32 GB for better multitasking and the SSD and HDD configuration remains. The GeForce 1080 graphics card found on this laptop is the most powerful laptop graphics card on the market. This laptop is speedy and powerful. It also supports NVIDIA G-sync for a better gaming experience. So, it really is the complete package, if you have the cash to spend.

Acer Predator 17 X Key Specifications

  • Display: 17.3″ UHD 3840×2160 4K IPS Panel
  • CPU: 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7820HK Processor
  • GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080
  • Memory: 32 GB DDR4 Memory
  • Storage: 512GB M.2 SSD in RAID 0 + 1 TB HDD
  • Battery: 8 cell Li-ion battery

Acer Predator 17 X Price in Nepal: Rs. 3,50,000

Pros Cons
Comes with NVIDIA G-SYNC Heavy (4.5 Kg)
Great thermal management Battery life not very good

Acer Spin Nitro 5

Acer Spin Nitro 5 is a spin-off of the normal Acer Nitro 5. It loses the HQ processors from normal Nitro 5 and replaces them with U series processors. This downgrade in power is understandable because of the form factor. However, that is about the only downgrade you will find in this laptop. The GTX 1050 hasn’t gone anywhere which means this laptop is still a very capable machine for content creation and all. And Acer has decided to bless the Nitro 5 with an SSD which means faster boot and program load times. We think the Spin Nitro 5 will feel faster and quicker despite the downgraded CPU because of the inclusion of an SSD.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

If you don’t care about the form factor, we suggest you buy an SSD and upgrade the original Nitro 5. It will give the laptop a serious speed boost and you won’t have to tolerate the low-wattage CPU found on the Nitro 5. But if you want a laptop that you can use as a partner in your daily Yoga practices, the Acer Spin Nitro 5 is a great choice.

Acer Spin Nitro 5 Key Specifications

  • Display: 15.6″ FHD (1920×1080) IPS LCD Touchscreen
  • CPU:8th gen Intel Core i5-8250U/ 8th Gen. Intel Core i7-8550U
  • GPU: GTX 1050 4G GDDR5
  • Memory: 8 GB DDR4
  • Storage: 1TB + 128 GB SSD/ 1TB + 256 GB SSD
  • Battery: 48 Wh Li-ion Battery

Acer Spin Nitro 5 Price in Nepal: Rs. 125,000(i5), Rs. 160,000(i7)

Pros Cons
Has an SSD U series processor
360-degree hinge design

Acer Predator Triton 700

You have to be a serious gamer to consider buying this laptop, or you can be very rich. Whatever your reason, the first thing you will notice while seeing a review video of a Triton 700 is how freaking thin it is. Just 18 mm!!! This laptop looks sleek as hell. Acer does away with red/orange accents usually found on the Predator line and gives the laptop a muted look with a black aluminum back panel. The red/orange is replaced by icy blue accents which make the laptop look way cooler and professional.

There is a surprise when you open the lid of the laptop. You won’t find a touchpad in its usual position. Where has it gone? The transparent glass that lets you look at the cooling fans at the top of the laptop is the touchpad. Cool right?

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

You can guess the performance of this device by looking at the spec sheet. 32GB of RAM, and dual 512 GB SSD on Raid 0. This laptop is speedy as hell and with its GTX-1080 Max-Q Graphics, and the Intel Core i7 HQ processor, it is very powerful too. Have Your Say

Acer, though a constant presence in the laptop market, isn’t the first name that pops on most people’s head when they think about buying a laptop. Most people know brands like Dell, Lenovo, and Apple. But Acer makes some of the best value laptops on the market and it should definitely be on your RADAR.

Among this list of Acer laptops price in Nepal, I find it is a tie between the Acer E5-576G and the Helios 300 to be my favorite. If you want a laptop for gaming, go for the Helios 300. It is one of the best value laptops for gaming in the market. If you want a casual all-purpose laptop, go for the E5. It is (despite the price increase) one of the best value all-purpose laptops in the market.

Which is your favorite laptop in the list? Do you own any of these? How was your experience? Any issues that you faced that needs to be highlighted? Would you recommend your laptop to anyone? Please don’t forget to share your experience and thoughts in the comments section below.
