The GSMA Mobile World Congress is a combination of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world. The GSMA Mobile World Congress usually takes place in February but occasionally, the show occurs the first week of March. The location is the Fira Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain. This year the Mobile World Congress kicked off on February 26 and will end of March 1, 2018. As expected, there were a lot of announcement and new products that blew the minds of the crowds. Incorporating all of those is not possible but we have compiled a list of few of those. Following are some of the interesting products announced in Mobile World Congress 2018.
Samsung Galaxy S9
Well, this was probably the biggest announcement of the Mobile World Congress, unless some other companies have a phone that can cure cancer. Samsung Galaxy S9 is the flagship phone for 2018. Galaxy S9, being one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, was the first smartphones to be announced in the event. Pre-orders for this phone begin on March 2 and it will be available in the markets from March 16.

Sony Xperia XZ2
Sony, though not very fostering in the market, has been making some great smartphones. This time in MWC 2018 Sony has released two new phones, the Sony Xperia XZ2 and the Xperia XZ2 Compact. This phones are the flagship for Sony for this year. Looking at the smartphone, it does not look very futuristic, but on paper, this device looks very promising.

Nokia 7 Plus
Everybody knows how much Nokia has been struggling in the later days. Despite the unforeseen failure of the company when it was in its peak, it had a brutal downfall. Nokia now is trying to rise up again. Nokia has released some decent smartphones in the past year. In this iteration of MWC, Nokia has released yet another smartphone, the Nokia 7 Plus. This is a mid ranged smartphone, but for the price you are getting some decent specs. While this might not be very futuristic, this might turn out be a great smartphone judging by the impressiveness on paper.

As if the notch on the iPhone X was not annoying enough. Leagoo has come up with a device that is identical to the iPhone X. The infamous “top-notch”, the face unlock feature and basically the entire design. Like come on Leagoo, what is the point of copying entire design? But surprisingly, this phone looks way better than other smartphones for its price point. 150 bucks is not much, but what you get on the inside is interesting.

It is surprising how Huawei, who primarily is a smartphone manufacturer, has done such a good job in making of notebooks. Huawei Matebook X Pro is one of the most premium feeling notebooks out there. The bezels on this notebook are so slim that they had to relocate the webcam in an entirely new place. This device just looks amazing.
