On the occasion of the company’s 14th anniversary, Nepal Telecom (NT) announced Namaste credit as their credit service, along with a few other anniversary offers.
The company had an anniversary program, during which they made a soft launch of the credit service. Minister for Information and Communication inaugurated the Namaste Credit service. He made a call to the State Minister with a phone having very less balance, proving that the call will be continued even if the balance is not enough.
According to the company, the service will be available to all the customers after thorough testing, within a month.
However, the service will only be available to GSM customers.
What is Namaste credit:
- With Namaste credit, customers will be able to continue their phone calls even if the balance finishes. NT will provide the service of adding airtime credit to the customers who have less or no balance.
- NT won’t charge any interest or extra service charge for using this loan credit service.
- Only the used amount will be deducted once the customer recharges his/her balance.
