Huawei Band 11 Lands in Nepal: And This Time There’s a Band 11 Pro Too!

 HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Huawei Band 11 series price in Nepal starts at Rs. 9,990.
  • It has a 1.62-inch AMOLED panel with up to 2,000nit peak brightness.
  • The Huawei Band 11 and 11 Pro promise up to 14 days of battery life.

Even though Huawei smartphones are a rare sight in the Nepali market, their wearables are a completely different story, thriving quietly but consistently. Huawei Bands, in particular, have had a steady presence here since the Band 4, and now they have just launched the Band 11 and Band 11 Pro.

In previous years, Nepal only received the base variant of each Huawei Band. But this year, we are getting both the base and Pro variant. Let’s see what the Band 11 brings to the table.

The Huawei Band 11 comes in as a successor to the Band 10, which, as of writing this article, has sold 106 units on Daraz, pretty neat for a fitness band.

And having used the Band 10 for a couple of weeks myself, one thing that genuinely won me over was the “Panda HuaHua” watch face available on Huawei wearables.

These pet-themed watch faces were unique, and let’s be real, kind of adorable. I mean, who does not love pandas?

So the Panda HuaHua is back, and so is the Band. But beyond the cute watch face, has Huawei actually given us more reasons to strap this on our wrist? Let’s find out

Huawei Band 11 Overview

One thing I enjoyed the most about the Band 10 last year was the color variety; it came in a wide range of options, and it is good to see that trend continue with the Band 11. But this time, there is a slight catch.

The Band 11 comes in two variants: a durable polymer and an aluminum frame variant. The Durable Polymer case is available in Black and Purple, while the Aluminium variant adds Beige, Green, and White to the mix. The Band 11 Pro, on the other hand, keeps things minimal with just Black and Blue.

Dimension-wise, the Band 11 is slightly bigger this time around, coming in at 1.62 inches diagonally compared to the Band 10’s 1.47 inches. It is also about 1g heavier at 16-17g, depending on whether you go for the Aluminium or Polymer variant. Both models are 5ATM water-resistant, good for dives of up to 50 meters.

With the larger display, Huawei has also packed in more pixels, now sitting at 286 x 482, pushing the pixel density up to 347PPI for a noticeably sharper screen. Brightness has also seen a massive jump, going from 450 nits on the Band 10 all the way up to 1,500 nits on the Band 11. And the Band 11 Pro takes it even further with 2,000 nits, more than enough for direct sunlight use.

While we’re on the subject of upgrades, the main upgrade is Bluetooth 6.0 on the Band 11 series compared to Bluetooth 5.0 on the Band 10.

On the fitness front, the feature set remains largely the same as last year, with over 100 workout and activity modes covering everything from running and cycling to yoga and strength training. Heart rate monitoring, SpO₂, and sleep tracking are all on board, and there is even menstrual cycle tracking for users who need it, a thoughtful inclusion.

Now, the biggest difference between the Band 11 and Band 11 Pro comes down to GPS. The standard Band 11 relies on connected GPS, meaning it borrows the location signal from your paired phone.

The Band 11 Pro, however, comes with built-in autonomous GNSS, so it can track your outdoor runs, cycling routes, and hikes independently, without needing your phone nearby. For serious outdoor users, that alone could be the deciding factor between the two.

All your health and fitness data feeds into the Huawei Health app, available on both Android and iOS. The Band 11 also lets you personalise your look with a wide selection of watch faces, some pre-installed, with many more available to download directly from the app. The band is compatible with Android 9.0 and above, as well as iOS 13.0 and above.

As for battery, the 300mAh unit can last up to 14 days on light use, around 8 days with typical daily usage, and roughly 3 days with the Always-On Display enabled. Charging is handled via Huawei’s magnetic charger, which snaps on easily.

Huawei Band 11 Series Price in Nepal: Starting Rs. 9,990 (Band 11) | Rs. 14,990 (Band 11 Pro)

The Huawei Band 11 is a solid upgrade over the Band 10 in almost every way that matters. For someone who has used the Band 10, the difference is real.

The price jump is noticeable, though, and whether the upgrades justify it depends on how much you actually use your band.

The Band 11 Pro is where things get more interesting. The built-in GNSS is the real differentiator. If you run, cycle, or hike regularly without wanting to carry your phone, the Pro is simply the smarter buy. That price gap between the two suddenly makes a lot of sense once you factor that in.
