For the past couple of months, budget tablets have been launching left and right in Nepal. And now, it’s OnePlus’s turn with the release of the OnePlus Pad Lite.

Ever since the Redmi Pad 2 came out, other budget tablets haven’t quite managed to hit that perfect value-for-money mark. But could the new OnePlus Pad Lite change that? Let’s find out.
What is the Price of the OnePlus Pad Lite in Nepal?
The OnePlus Pad Lite price in Nepal is expected to be Rs. 29,999 (6/128GB) for the Wi-Fi only variant and Rs. 34,999 (8/128GB) for the LTE model.
The Pad hasn’t launched in Nepal yet, but according to OnePlus Nepal officials, the tablet should be arriving very soon.
From the name itself, it sounds like the OnePlus Pad Lite is a toned-down version of the original OnePlus Pad. But that toned-down tablet already launched back in 2023 under the name OnePlus Pad Go.
Looking at the specs, the Pad Lite feels more like a refreshed version of the Pad Go rather than something entirely new.
Enough talking, let’s see how the tablet actually holds up.
OnePlus Pad Lite Overview
The OnePlus Pad Lite comes with that iconic OnePlus design, where the main camera module sits on the center-left side of a flat back panel. The curved frame, combined with slightly thick bezels, should make the tablet easier to hold with one hand without accidentally touching the screen.
On the front, there’s an 11-inch IPS panel with an FHD+ resolution. The refresh rate isn’t all that impressive, peaking at only 90Hz, but for media consumption and daily use, it should be more than enough.

The OnePlus Pad Lite is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100, which feels just right for this price range, as similarly priced devices also feature the same chipset. And to enhance your multimedia experience, OnePlus has included a quad-speaker setup with Hi-Res Audio support.

The base variant is a Wi-Fi-only model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also an LTE version that comes with 8GB of RAM and the same storage.
However, the internal storage feels quite limited, especially since there’s no microSD card slot, a definite miss for a budget device.
There isn’t much to say about the cameras either. You get a 5MP shooter on both the front and back. Not terrible, but it seems like OnePlus is doing the bare minimum in this department.

Powering everything is a 9,340mAh battery, and the Pad Lite supports 33W fast charging, with the charger thankfully included in the box.

The OnePlus Pad Lite sits slightly on the expensive side for a budget tablet, but it does offer a few perks, like a bigger battery and faster charging compared to rivals such as the Redmi Pad 2.
However, the tablet falls just a bit short in the display and camera departments. And at this price point, arguments can be made that the base variant actually offers better value for money than the LTE model.
