Vibes Launches Two Earbuds in Nepal at Rs. 1,000!

Vibes is a new name in the Nepali accessories market. However, they are no stranger to this landscape because they share the same distributor and some investors as Ultima — probably the most recognisable Nepali accessories brand.

That being said, they introduced a pair of two new earbuds — exclusively through Daraz, without any popular features like ANC, Game Mode, and IP rating. In fact, they have bashed these features instead — calling them “gimmicky” and “overpriced” on their social media.

They aren’t entirely wrong as these features barely add any real value to a general user. And by getting rid of them, Vibes drove down the prices of its earbuds.

Vibes launched two new earbuds on 15 January 2025, exclusively through Daraz. Their portfolio currently includes Bass Buds 311 and Bass Buds 511, both of which are available for Rs. 1,299.

As a launch offer, Vibes is currently offering a voucher worth Rs. 300, bringing the price of their buds down to Rs. 999. On top of that, you can take advantage of card discounts on Daraz on select days, reducing the price even further.

The 300 rupees voucher is only valid till 20 January 2025, after which you can only enjoy the card discounts on your purchase of Vibes earbuds.

Vibes Bass Buds 311

The Vibes Bass Buds 311 are in-ear earbuds with cylindrical stems and groovy patterns on those stems. They pack 13mm drivers inside and offer ENC for clear calls.

To connect with your smartphone, these buds rely on Bluetooth v5.4 and work with Android, iOS, as well as Windows devices. Additionally, they auto-connect to the device you most recently paired with.

Other than that, the Vibes Bass Buds 311 offers up to 20 hours of playtime on a single charge. They are available in Iris White and Midnight Black colours.

Vibes Bass Buds 511

The other earbuds Vibes launched is the Bass Budss 511, which looks quite different. They also come in an in-ear design, but their stems are a bit more pill-shaped. Furthermore, they sit horizontally inside the squircle charging case with a thin lid atop.

Specs and hardware-wise, the Vibes Bass Buds 511 is almost the same as its 311 sibling. The only real difference is that they last a tad longer, offering up to 22 hours of usage. They also ship in the same two shades, marketed as Frost Blue and Jet Black.

Though the company labelled “Game Mode” as a gimmicky feature, these earbuds announce switching between “Game Mode” and “Music Mode” when you long press on them. So, I guess Vibes does offer a “gimmicky sound mode” feature on the Bass Buds 511.

Vibes introduced two earbud models exclusively through Daraz: the Bass Buds 311 and the Bass Buds 511. The price of both them is Rs. 1,299.

They launched on 15 January 2025, and are offering discount vouchers worth Rs. 300 till 20 January. With the discount, the effective price of these earbuds is Rs. 999.

In conclusion, you don’t get many branded earbuds at Rs. 1,299 these days. As such, these earbuds are a great deal, especially after considering all the discounts you can get. In my usage, I slightly preferred the Bass Buds 511. But if you are someone who loves punchy bass then the Bass Buds 311 might be the better pick.
