Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE Launching Soon in Nepal: Cheapest One, But Is it Good?

Samsung introduced the “Fan Edition” of the Buds3 a few weeks ago, and now the Nepali branch of the company is officially bringing the Galaxy Buds3 FE to the country.

The FE variant of a Samsung product usually means a slightly trimmed-down version, designed to offer a more budget-friendly option. Let’s take a closer look at how much trimming Samsung has actually done to the Buds3 FE.

What is the Price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE in Nepal?

Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE price in Nepal is expected to be Rs. 19,999. The Buds3 FE have not officially launched yet and are therefore not available for purchase. However, according to Samsung officials, they are expected to arrive by the end of this week.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 lineup marked a complete redesign of the Buds series, and the Buds3 FE continues that trend.

Looking at Samsung’s recent history with devices like the S24 FE and S25 FE, where the company trimmed features without lowering the price much, I admit I didn’t have high hopes for the Buds3 FE. That said, in this case, I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong.

Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE Overview

The Galaxy Buds3 FE doesn’t fall far behind its siblings in the Buds3 lineup, the Buds3 and Buds3 Pro, all of which share Samsung’s new “blade” design. This stemmed design supports pinch and swipe controls.

Unlike the previous generation’s clam-shaped case, Samsung has gone for a rounded rectangular prism this time around. The most striking change, however, is the semi-transparent cover.

Under the hood, the Buds3 FE features a single 11mm dynamic driver, similar to the Buds3. You also get Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Mode, allowing you to tune in or stay aware of your surroundings with ease. For calls, Samsung has packed in six microphones along with enhanced background noise reduction, ensuring clear and stable conversations even in noisy environments.

Just like its pricier counterparts, the Buds3 FE also supports hands-free access to Gemini, so you can use the assistant without reaching for your phone.

On top of that, smart features like AI Interpreter and Auto Switch have made their way to the FE series. The Interpreter mode enables real-time two-way translation.

In terms of endurance, each earbud carries a 53mAh battery, while the charging case packs 515mAh, the same as the Buds3 Pro. According to Samsung’s estimates, you can expect up to 24 hours total with the case with ANC On and up to 30 hours with the case with ANC off.

Despite being a Fan Edition, the Buds3 FE doesn’t lag far behind its “non-FE” sibling, the Buds3. Samsung has retained most of the core features, including the 11mm driver, 360 Audio, live translation, and Auto Switch, all familiar from the Buds3 and Buds3 Pro.

For users seeking a more affordable alternative to the Buds3, the Buds3 FE proves to be a solid choice.
