Ncell App Camp, the biggest mobile app development conclave in Nepal has just announced that they have received a total of 728 ideas under four different categories for the competition. The registration process to submit the idea to the competition has been closed from yesterday, 12 noon.

Out of four categories, 290 app ideas were the maximum count that has been received under utilities category. Likewise, 153 ideas has been submitted under tourism category, 143 ideas under health category and 138 ideas under Games and entertainment category.
According to officials, this year the registration of the app ideas has almost doubled. Last year, 457 app ideas were submitted for the competition, this year the count has been almost doubled to 728 submissions. Ncell App camp says that they are overwhelmed by such response this year.
Now, the submitted ideas for the competition will be evaluated by a selection committee of the camp on the basis of four major criteria’s – importance of problem the app aims to solve, business potential, global scalability, articulation and presentation. The top 150 teams will be announced online on 23rd September, 2015 at www.ncellappcamp.com
The top 150 teams will then participate in several seminars and training session in November and then move towards to convert their app ideas into real business.
