HIGHLIGHTS

Xiaomi today launched the Redmi A2+ in Nepal. It is the Plus variant of the vanilla Redmi A2, which was also launched simultaneously. Additionally, it is the successor to last year’s Redmi A1+.

The Redmi A2 Plus price in Nepal is Rs. 11,499 (2/32GB) and Rs. 11,999 (3/64GB). The phone is available for purchase at Xiaomi-authorized stores throughout the country.

In addition to the global unveiling of the Redmi Note 12 series in March 2023, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi A2 series. This series comprises two entry-level smartphones: the Redmi A2 and A2+.

The Redmi A2 series is identical to the Redmi A1 series. The only major difference is the chipset upgrade.

In this article, we will be discussing the specifications and features of the Redmi A2+. The A2+ differs from the Redmi A2 in that the A2+ features a fingerprint sensor, which the A2 does not.

ALSO READ: Redmi 12C Price in Nepal (March 2025 Updated)

The design of the Redmi A2+ has not changed from the Redmi A1+. It still features the same plastic body with a leather-like texture back.

The design of the rear camera setup has taken inspiration from the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Lite, showcasing a black capsule design within a circular rectangular island.

The Redmi A2+ boasts a fingerprint sensor at the back. This is the only difference between the Redmi A2+ and the Redmi A2.

The SIM card tray is provided on the left side of the device, which supports two nano SIM cards and a microSD card.

Meanwhile, the right side of the device houses the power and volume buttons. Regrettably, it still utilizes the outdated Micro-USB port for charging and data transfer, rather than the more modern USB-C port. However, considering its price, this can be overlooked.

Additionally, the bottom of the device features a microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the speaker is positioned on the top side.

ALSO READ: Benco S1 Price in Nepal (March 2025 Updated)

The phone has a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It does not support a high refresh rate.

The display has a waterdrop notch and a noticeable bottom bezel.
