OPPO F15 Officially Launched in Nepal: A Spicy Blend of Design and Camera!

Underneath the polycarbonate structure, is a brand new Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P95 processor; that bumps up the connectivity, GPU and AI in the Helio lineup. The processor is then paired alongside 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internals; which frankly, still doesn’t hold firmly in the performance scenario. Meaning that basically the processor is wildly incompetent for its standards.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro Key Specifications

Display: 6.4-inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (~87.4% screen-to-body ratio)

Resolution: FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels); 20:9 aspect ratio (~405 ppi density)

Chipset: MediaTek Helio P95; 12nm Mobile Platform

CPU: Octa-core (2x Cortex-A75 cores @ up to 2.2GHz, 6x Cortex-A55 cores)

GPU: PowerVR GM 9446

Internals: 8GB with 128 / 256GB

Software: Android 10.0; ColorOS 7

Rear Camera: Quad-camera;
– 64MP, f/1.7 primary shooter, PDAF
– 13MP, f/2.4 telephoto lens
– 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide lens
– 2MP, f/1.4 B&W monochrome sensor

Front Camera: Dual-camera;
– 44MP, f/2.4 primary sensor
– 2MP, f/2.4 depth sensor

Battery: 4025 mAh with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0

OPPO Reno 3 Pro Price in Nepal: Rs 46,990

As the title suggests, the Oppo Reno 3 is basically a multi-camera madness. It houses a total of 6 camera in its body that are widely represented by higher megapixels. On the rear, the vertical camera array is primarily focused on the 64MP f/1.7 sensor. For support, there’s a 13MP telephoto lens capable of a 2x optical zoom, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2MP depth module.

Rotating over to the front is a bizarre dual camera setup with one of them being a 44MP f/2.4 module. Paired with, is a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the surficial side of things, there’s Color OS 7 on top of Android 10.

And finally, providing power to the entire device is an average 4025mAh battery. The battery capacity may not be that intimidating but the 30W fast charger is truly worth fearing. 50% in 20 mins is pretty frightening.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro Price in Nepal, Availability and Impressions

Oppo Reno 3 Pro is a fancy device that has some interesting outlooks in the appearance division. The phone has already seen the daylight in India and is market at INR 29,990. Roughly translating, that should amount to around Rs 48,000. However, the price has seen daylight in Nepal at Rs 46,990; which is definitely a great news but I still find it difficult to recommend this device.

Look, the Reno 3 Pro looks promising in paper, but with specs like these it’ll just be grinded into mincemeat right away. The segment is just way too sensitive in terms of prices and there’s cut-throat competition. And unless it brings something truly special to the table, chances of its survival are looking pretty slim to me. This lineup has started offering way more that what you get in this device. Some have a 90Hz panel, some have top end processors and some have monstrous batteries that are just way more enticing. The Reno 3 on the other hand is just plain vanilla against the competitors.

You tell me, if you were to spend Rs 48,000, shouldn’t it be balanced well in every basic category? Well, I felt that the Reno 3 Pro is a little disappointing in the design and performance backgrounds. However, those are just my concerns on the device. The same thing may not apply to you at all. So, do mention all of your thoughts on the device in the comments down below.
