HIGHLIGHTS

Mahindra XEV 9e will likely be launched in Nepal by 2025.

Agni Group, the authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, is planning to bring the Mahindra XEV 9e this year.

Built on Mahindra’s latest technological feat, the INGLO platform, it benefits from a modular skateboard architecture developed exclusively for the brand’s next-generation electric vehicles.

Mahindra has invested heavily in R&D to create the INGLO platform.

Designed from the ground up as a dedicated EV base, it offers exceptional space efficiency for LFP battery placement while enhancing overall performance and safety.

The platform also integrates a comprehensive suite of safety features like GNCAP compliance and ADAS, along with a compatibility with AI-powered technologies. It supports adaptive controls, driver monitoring systems, and other intelligent features through Mahindra’s proprietary tech ecosystem, MAIA.

So far, Mahindra has introduced two vehicles based on this platform: the Mahindra BE 6 and the Mahindra XEV 9e.

Mahindra XEV 9e price in Nepal is not revealed as of yet.

As of now, the official launch date for the XEV 9e remains unconfirmed. However, company officials have assured us that both the XEV 9e and the BE 6 will arrive by 2025.

XEV has introduced four variants of the 9e in the Indian market: Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. The first three share the same powertrain and differ mainly in their feature offerings.

In contrast, Pack Three stands out as the top-spec variant, offering the most premium equipment and features.

Based on pricing in the Indian market, the XEV 9e is expected to cost more than the BE 6. In India, the BE 6 starts at Rs. 18.90 lakhs, while the XEV 9e carries a higher starting price of Rs. 21.90 lakhs.

We’ll continue to update this article as new details emerge, so stay tuned for the latest information.

Now, let’s have a quick look at the key specs of Mahindra XEV 9e in Nepal for 2025.

ALSO READ: Mahindra BE 6 Price in Nepal (April 2025 Updated)

The Mahindra XEV 9e makes a bold statement with its sporty, muscular design and distinctly cyberpunk-inspired aesthetics.

Its futuristic appeal begins right at the front, where a sharply contoured bonnet and angular nose create an aggressive stance. All variants share the same front design, which includes vertically stacked Bi-LED Projector Headlamps housed in a blacked-out V-shaped enclosure.

The Pack Three Select and Pack Three variants offer Connected LED DRLs and Sequential turn indicators—features absent in the base Pack One while Pack Two does offer the latter feature.

The body-colored, layered-pattern grille injects a sense of electric identity, while prominent creases break the visual monotony. A rugged black cladding on the lower bumper enhances its assertive presence.

From the side, the XEV 9e’s coupe-like silhouette becomes prominent, thanks to its sloping roofline that flows seamlessly into the tailgate. This side profile gives off serious Tata Curvv.ev vibes.

All variants ride on 19-inch wheels, but there’s a clear distinction in materials. While the base Pack One comes with alloy-look steel wheels, the higher variants get true alloy wheels with aero inserts that enhance both style and aerodynamics.

ALSO READ: MG S5 Price in Nepal (April 2025 Updated)

At the rear, a Full-Width LED Taillight grabs attention, with an illuminated Mahindra logo taking center. Look closely and you’ll notice the rear bumper tapering upward, and this isn’t just for looks. It actively guides airflow underneath the car via an integrated diffuser, reducing drag and supporting laminar flow.

Pack Three Select and Pack Three take things a step further by offering a Gesture-Controlled Power Tailgate.

Inside, the XEV 9e delivers a radically modern cabin experience. The centerpiece is a Triple-Screen setup, with three 12.3-inch Displays dedicated to the Instrument Cluster, Infotainment, and Front Passenger Entertainment.

The dashboard layout and floating console embrace a clean and high-tech aesthetic, while the glossy finish on the center console adds a touch of luxury.

Seat upholstery varies by variant. The base Pack One uses fabric, while all other trims upgrade to Premium Leatherette with Power-Adjustable Front Seats. Pack Three Select and Pack Three also offer Front Seat Ventilation for added comfort. The two-spoke steering wheel comes with Tilt and Telescopic Adjustment across all variants.

In terms of audio, the base variant features a 6-Speaker Sound System, whereas the upper variants step up with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon setup.

These also include a Panoramic Sunroof, Wireless Charging, and Dual-Zone Climate Control, which are exclusive to Pack Two and above.

For tech-savvy drivers, the top-tier Pack Three variant even includes a Heads-Up Display (HUD).

Mahindra offers the XEV 9e in a multitude of colors including Tango Red, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Ruby Velvet, Desert Myst, and Stealth Black.

The powertrain of the XEV 9e varies based on the selected variant. Among the four variants, the first three, i.e., the Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three Select variants are powered by a 170 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that produces a max power of 231 PS and a max torque of 380 Nm.

These three variants are powered by a 59 kWh Blade Battery pack, which provides a comprehensive MIDC-claimed range of 542 km. And, when it comes to charging, a 7.2 kW AC charger takes approximately 8.7 hours to fully recharge the battery from 0 to 100%. Opting for an 11.2 kW AC charger reduces the time to just 6 hours.

For faster charging, these variants support up to 140 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. However, using Nepal’s available 60 kW DC chargers, the same charge would take around 50 minutes.

The top-spec Pack Three variant steps things up with a more powerful 210 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that produces 285.5 PS of max power and 380 Nm of max torque. It comes equipped with a larger 79 kWh Blade Battery, offering a MIDC-claimed range of 656 km.

This particular variant was also tested on the WLTP cycle where it gave a 533 km range reading, which is quite good.
