Yes, the Benco V92 comes with an eye-catching dual-tone leather back. Complementing the leather back, the circular camera module adds to V92&#8217;s premium vibe. The details in the camera ring make it look like an expensive phone.<\/p>\n<p>However, everything is not as good as it seems. The leather stitching is not seamless as you can see a gap between the top half and the bottom half of the rear panel. However, its refresh rate has been reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. On the bright side, it now boasts an FHD+ resolution, providing sharper visuals than an HD+ panel.<\/p>\n<p>The display delivers decent colors, though the color reproduction appears slightly muted, which is typical for an entry-level smartphone.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>The FHD panel is sharp, but the 60Hz refresh rate is a deal breaker.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Benco has not disclosed the peak brightness of the V92\u2019s display. However, when compared to the Redmi 14C, the latter appears to be slightly brighter.<\/p>\n<p>Surprisingly, Benco has removed 90Hz refresh rate support on the V92, despite both the V91 and V91 Plus featuring it. While it&#8217;s a decent choice for entry-level smartphones, manufacturers should consider offering a more powerful chipset for devices priced above Rs. 15,000.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>V92 performs decent under normal usage but gaming performance is below par.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The V92 performs well in everyday use, with smooth UI navigation and decent app loading times. This can be attributed to its larger 6GB RAM and faster 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. However, the downgrade to a 60Hz refresh rate makes the device feel less fluid than it is.<\/p>\n<p>In benchmark tests such as <strong>AnTuTu 10<\/strong>, <strong>GeekBench 6<\/strong>, and <strong>3DMark Wild Life<\/strong>, the Benco V92 delivers decent performance, slightly outperforming the Unisoc T616 chipset found in the Benco V91.<\/p>\n<h4>Gaming<\/h4>\n<p>During my testing, I played PUBG Mobile with the &#8220;<em>Smooth<\/em>&#8221; graphics and &#8220;<em>High<\/em>&#8221; fps settings. I averaged <strong>24.2 FPS<\/strong> over 30 minutes of gameplay. The UI is more mature thanks to the Android 14 and there are more personalization features than before.<\/p>\n<p>One feature I noticed is the wallpaper-based color theming, which is meant to adjust icon and text colors to match the wallpaper. This is similar to the accent color feature found on some other phones. However, the color changes are quite limited\u2014only icon colors and certain menu headings adapt, while the notification bar and quick toggle icons remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>Benco deserves credit for keeping its phone free of bloatware\u2014it doesn\u2019t even include its own Gallery app. Additionally, it offers a Smart Window feature that provides updates on ongoing tasks like face unlock, background calls, and charging status. Similarly, the updated INONE UI includes an App Clone feature, enabling users to switch between two accounts on popular apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.<\/p>\n<p>Benco hasn\u2019t specified the software update cycle for the V92.
