New Tiago Wizz 2018 With Striking Dual Tone Color Launched in Nepal

Tata Motors Nepal has launched the Tata Tiago Wizz 2018 in the Nepali market. Indica e-Xeta, Indica CR4, Tigor, Bolt, Indigo eCS, and Zest are some of the other cars sold by Tata Motors Nepal which have performed decently along with the Tiago in the market. The company has named the 2018 version of the Tiago as Tiago Wizz. The new Tiago Wizz comes with a bunch of cool new features among which some are the first in its class.

The new Tiago Wizz is powered by a Revotron 1.2L, 3-cylinder, BS IV fuel emission norm 1199cc petrol engine which produces 85 BHP of power at 6000 RPM and 114 NM of torque at 3500 RPM. It also comes in diesel variant which is powered by Revotorq 1.05L, 3-cylinder, BS IV fuel emission norm 1047cc diesel engine that is capable of producing 70 BHP of maximum power at 4000 RPM and 140 NM of torque 1800-3000 RPM. Currently, the Tiago Wizz is only available in petrol variant in Nepal and priced at Rs. 26,95,000.

The exterior of the Tiago Wizz has transformed a great deal from its predecessor and comprises of the additions and improvements such as sleek and sporty black contrast roof (1st in class), piano black outside rear view mirrors (1st in class), stylish blackout on door sash, signature inserts on first grill, roof rails, signature dual tone wheel covers with red accents (1st in class), sporty black spoiler with spats (1st in class), body colored bumper, sporty cool looking three dimensional headlamps, high mount stop lamps, sharp tail lamps, unique berry-red chrome strip on front grill, and body colored outside door handles.

Moving on to the interiors of the Tiago Wizz, some of the catchy improvements and addition are new geometric patterned seat upholstery, unique red highlights on AC vents rings, sporty black finish on steering wheel and front fascia, dual tone interior theme with piano black finish and sporty red lines, bottle and cup holder in front console, door pockets with bottle holder, tablet storage in glove box, gear knob with chrome insert, front power outlet, ticket holder on A-pillar, interior lamps with theatre dimming, collapsible grab handles with coat hook and rear parcel shelf. It also comes with two modes that are ECO mode and CITY mode.

The safety and security features included by Tata in the Tiago are rear parking sensors, remote central locking, speed dependent auto door locks, follow-me-home lamps, immobilizer and 3 point ELR seatbelts with the lap belt for the rear center seat. The front brake consists of disc brakes and the rear comes with a drum brake whereas the front has an independent, lower wishbone, McPheron Strut with coil spring suspension setup and the rear has a semi-independent, twist beam with dual path strut suspension setup. The fuel tank capacity of the Tiago is 35 liters, and it gives you a mileage of 23.84 kmpl with a top speed of 150km/h. The tires of the Tiago are R14 steel 175/65 sized tires.

The length × width × height of the dual tone Tiago is 3746 × 1647 × 1535mm respectively. The ground clearance is of a considerable 170mm when un-laden and has a wheelbase of 2400mm whereas the boot space remains the same as the older version that is 242 liters.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Chevrolet Beat, Renault KWID, Alto K10 and Datsun Go are some of the major competitors of the new Tiago Wizz in the entry-level hatchback segment. But Tiago already being a popular choice in the market and with the newly updated variant being launched, this vehicle is expected to perform exceptionally well in the Nepali market.
