Summary:

There’s a lot to unpack here. Both HS250 and Furious 150 sounds and feels like a great new Scomadi Hanway motorcycles. But choosing between the two can be a daunting task.

You might be very familiar with the Scomadi scooters in Nepal, right? Try to imagine a classic-looking scooter with a complete chrome aesthetics along with the larger ‘125’ logo. You are visualizing it, right?

Anyways, that’s the brand I am talking about! Every model Scomadi has ever launched in Nepal, has a unique design element to it. That design is only linked to that specific model. One could simply describe the aesthetics of the model, and the other one would immediately know.

Scomadi Nepal has recently announced the launch of two new models in Nepal: Scomadi Scrambler HS250 and Scomadi Furious 150. Yes, each model comes with a unique list of features put together in a unique design.

As for the pricing, Scomadi Scrambler HS250 price in Nepal is Rs. 4,50,000. Likewise, Scomadi Furious 150 price in Nepal is Rs. 3,15,000. Moreover, both models are available for pre-booking at Rs. 10,000.

Scomadi Scrambler HS250

Scrambler 250 is powered by 249.5cc air-cooled 4T engine. This can generate a max power of 20HP at 8500rpm  and max torque of 18Nm at 6500rpm. Furthermore, it gets a 13-liter fuel tank with an expected mileage of 25-30kmpl. Plus, the exhaust note is a definitive killer!

Talking about the design, you will get a classic scrambler to look with the Metallic Design, LED Taillamps, Halogen Headlamp, Brown Leather Seat, Spook Wheels and unique exterior exhaust. Furthermore, you will get a rugged 18-inch front tire and 17-inch rear tire, with dual disc braking. Unfortunately, ABS is totally absent.

Scomadi Furious 150

While the Scrambler 250 follows the classical look, Scomadi Furious 150 goes with the naked look, taking a drastically different route. It is powered by a 149.1cc liquid-cooled 4T 4V engine. This can generate a max power of 11HP at 10000rpm and max torque of 11Nm at 8000rpm. Furthermore, it gets a slightly bigger 14-liter fuel tank with an expected mileage of 35-40kmpl.

Talking about the design, you will get a naked look with much more sporty appeal. Moreover, you will get LED Headlamps, LED Taillamps, Digital Instrument Cluster, Aluminum Armrest, and so much more.

Furthermore, it comes with a chunkier 17-inc front and rear tires. As expected, there is dual disc braking but without any ABS.

Should You Buy Scomadi Motorcycles in Nepal?

This is a new one for me. Personally, I’ve never driven a Scomadi motorcycle. So, judging the bike solely based on the spec sheet would be unfair. Thus, I am going to reserve my judgment until I get my hands on both motorcycles.

There’s a lot to unpack here. Both HS250 and Furious 150 sounds and feels like a great new Scomadi Hanway motorcycles. But choosing between the two can be a daunting task.
